News & Press Releases
Project Girl is an arts based initiative that critically examines contemporary culture and encourages girls to take back control from commercial marketers working to manipulate and shape them. Project Girl's use of art as a fundamental means of exploration gives participating girls the opportunity to express with unique freedom and depth their personal views of power, beauty and what it means to be a girl without inhibition or fear of judgment.
Project Girl is about encouraging and inspiring girls to take action. In truth, we also encourage you to take action. We hope that, as you learn more about Project girl, you'll be inspired to work with us. Our art based workshops, exhibitions and training sessions are currently expanding Project Girl's reach to thousands of girls in multiple states.
